Studied under Dr. Abbott of the Boston Conservatory of Music.

As an artist, signed by Russ Regan to 20th Century Records. Composed and performed the

first solo Electronic Concert as a guest of the Boston Symphony on its 100th Anniversary at Boston Symphony Hall, under Principal Conductor Seiji Ozawa (in collaboration with Ray Kurzweil, Bob Moog, and Apple)

As a performer, played with artists such as John Lennon, Leon Russell, the Temptations, and John Phillips with the Rolling Stones.

As composer, numerous scores for feature films and television such as Best of the Best, Assassins, Deception, the Olympic Games and the America’s Cup. His commercial portfolio includes projects for Sony, Nissan, Intel, and Maybelline, earning him multiple awards (including an Emmy, Clio, Teli, and other broadcast awards).

As the music director of the Palm Springs International Film Festival, conducted live Orchestras (such as the LA Philharmonic) with artists such as Quincy Jones, Hans Zimmer, Howard Shore, and more.

As an engineer/inventor, developed an algorithm-based sound-engineering system that generates true spatial audio in large stadiums (e.g., MetLife Stadium, Minute Maid Park, Rangers Stadium, AT&T Stadium), used for events like the Super Bowl and the World Series (of baseball)

As a visionary, invented a sound-engineering system that distributes true spatial audio through broadcast and streaming for leagues such as the NBA and NFL

As an explorer, directed a series of expeditions with humpback whales, orcas, and dolphins, exploring the use of sound and music in interspecies communication, which has resulted in novel scientific discoveries

As a film director, directed and produced the documentary film “Ocean Odyssey,” about interspecies communication, which won six film festival awards, including “Best Composer.” This was done in collaboration with James Cameron’s Directors of Photography, including Vince Pace and DJ Roller.

Currently conducting research on the impact of sound and music on human cognition in prolonged spaceflight and habitation

Currently, composing and producing the Spacewalk symphonic score for upcoming space station and lunar missions, along with the chief engineer of Metallica.
