Présentation
Basile Zimmermann is Senior Lecturer and Director of the Confucius Institute at the University of Geneva, Switzerland. He is the author of Waves and Forms: Electronic Music Devices and Computer Encodings in China (MIT Press, Inside Technology, 2015). Current research projects focus on area studies methodology and technology studies in China and the Middle East. He is Co-Director of the Citizen Cyberlab.
